Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority Launches New Safety Patrol Initiative

Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority has unveiled a new initiative, the “Safety Patrol,” aimed at promoting safety awareness and preventive measures throughout the emirate. This program will focus on industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, ensuring that establishments are prepared for emergencies in line with the UAE’s Year of Community.

As part of the initiative, the Safety Patrol team will conduct regular visits to various facilities across Abu Dhabi. These visits will assess the safety standards of each establishment, provide guidance on preventive measures, and offer education on how to react in the event of an emergency.

To further support this initiative, a series of training programs will be offered to improve the readiness of both individuals and organizations. These programs will cover essential topics such as fire safety, emergency evacuation plans, and overall risk management.

The initiative also includes an incentive program, rewarding businesses and facilities that comply with safety regulations. Facilities meeting the necessary standards will receive a Safety Certificate, while those needing improvements will receive an Observation Card with suggestions for improvement. Additionally, participants can take advantage of Safety Vouchers, offering discounts on safety equipment.

The launch of the Safety Patrol is part of a larger strategy by the Abu Dhabi Government to increase public safety and social resilience. By raising awareness and providing resources to businesses and residents, the initiative plays an important role in protecting lives, safeguarding property, and ensuring a safe living environment for all.
